Dear Church Family,

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much we appreciate your support, prayers, and patience during this unprecedented time.

At the beginning of June, I was very happy to let you know that we were allowed to reopen our Church, and finally celebrate Sunday Masses, as well as daily Masses in our Church.  As you can imagine, the task of opening our Church for services once again, took a lot more thought than closing things down for a while.

Our desire from the very beginning, has been the health and safety of our Parishioners and attendees. This desire will continue to be the case as we move forward.

As you probably know the Archdiocese of Los Angeles has announced recently, updated guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19 among its faith community.  Given new guidelines set by the State of California and local county officials, all parishes in all three counties in the Archdiocese —Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara—have to discontinue indoor Masses and other liturgical services.

However outdoor Masses and other liturgical services such as adoration and prayer services are allowed and encouraged. Parishes may continue to celebrate Confessions, First Communions, Confirmations, Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals outdoors on the parish grounds.

Our Sunday and Daily Mass, as well as Confession schedule will be the same as we had in June, with some small changes about location, etc.

Saturday Vigil Mass: 5:00PM – In Diamond Courtyard

Sunday:   7:00AM – In Diamond Courtyard
                     9:00AM – In Diamond Courtyard
                     11:00AM – In Pastors Plaza
                     5:00PM – In Diamond Courtyard

Daily Mass (Monday – Saturday): 8:00AM – In Diamond Courtyard

Confession will be available in the Parish Office Patio from  3:30 to 4:45 PM.

While we could become a little distressed about what we are going through, we can also view it as an opportunity for God to show up, powerfully, through His people.

We appreciate your prayers for all of us in leadership, that we will be led by faith and not fear. We will do our best to worship together again in a way that brings glory to God and encouragement to the believers.

Sincerely,

Fr. Leszek Semik
Pastor
