Ministry of Consolation

Are you preparing for the imminent death of a loved one?
Have you recently lost a loved one?
Are you planning the Funeral Rites for your loved one?
Are you in need of consolation after losing a loved one?

Your Ministry of Consolation is here to serve you.  The purpose of this ministry is to assist our clergy and staff in providing emotional and spiritual support for parishioners who have experienced the death of a loved one. Genuine concern and care are given to those who mourn the death of a loved one so they will not grieve alone and may come to know the healing comfort of God.

What does the Ministry of Consolation do? We pray for the dead and comfort those who mourn by:

  • Help in planning the Funeral Rites
  • Offer support through the Funeral Rites
  • Offer continuous support with our bereavement support group
  • Offer on going support with grief related workshops
